About Us

What we believe

  • We believe in one eternal, personal, infinite God who exists equally in three Persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe God is Creator and Sustainer of heaven and earth and all that is in them. We believe that Jesus the Son was born of a virgin. He died sinless, was buried, rose from death, and ascended into heaven. We believe the Holy Spirit is a person not a force. The Spirit empowers the believer to live and to understand spiritual truth.

  • We believe that God created man and woman equally in His image. Adam and Eve’s original disobedience (sin) fractured the fellowship with God for which they were created. Because of this original sin every human born is separated from God by their inherited sinful nature and deserves death and condemnation to eternal punishment in hell. On our own we are incapable of coming back into fellowship with God, but He has bridged the gap that was caused by sin. Jesus - fully God and yet fully man - took the punishment for all. His death paid the penalty for sin offering a reinstatement to fellowship. This is redemption and is a free gift that is available to all who believe and place their faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Salvation is a free gift that is offered to all who will receive it. We believe that this is the only way to reinstate our relationship with God. Jesus Christ-through His selfless sacrifice-paid the only acceptable price for redemption. It while it is free, it must be received. We believe that only those who have truly accepted this gift in faith will spend eternity with God. We believe that salvation is not merely a guaranteed “ticket to heaven” but that it is a dynamic, loving relationship with God here on earth.

  • We believe the Bible is the only infallible, divinely inspired, authoritative word of God. We believe the Old and New Testaments are equally inspired and important; from them we learn of God, His plan of salvation, and the Christian life. We believe it should be interpreted historically, grammatically, contextually, and literally.
